Watching this interview with Eartha Kitt on PBS makes me so terribly sad. I will never see this woman live. I Nearly saw her this summer in Seattle but I couldn't afford it or bribe anyone to take me.
And now. Now that chance is gone forever. Maybe I shouldn't mope. There are Lots of people I look up to and adore who've passed on. Many many of the musicians I worship are no longer living. Sigh.
"I have so much fun with myself," she cackles. You see!?? Kindred spirits! Oh la la. WHY didn't I just rob a bank??!!! Why didn't I....oh well. Regret is a waste of time. Sob sob sob....
